About Us
Portugal Medical Cannabis (PTMC) is a conference organized by the non-profit association CannaReporter®, founded by Laura Ramos (Journalist), Fernando Bandrés (Tourism Business Manager) and António João Costa (Activist & Entrepreneur) to facilitate comprehensive information and education about cannabis and its related science. The team was later joined by Luís Matias (Events Specialist & Coordinator), who still works with PTMC every year to elevate the professionalism of our gatherings.
PTMC aims to deliver interactive, informative and consistent events throughout Portugal in order to generate critical mass by building an active cannabis community.
Operating since 2018 under a team of dedicated professionals with vision and passion, PTMC has gathered an international audience of over 30 different nationalities in an unique and intimate environment.
With exclusive networking sessions and in-depth discussions, PTMC provides a special space to discuss emerging global trends, investment opportunities and scientific advancements, while also fostering dialogue on how Portugal can further leverage its leadership position in the cannabis sector.
